INTRUDER ALARMS:As an investment, an Intruder Alarm is probably the best value for money for the protection of your business. An intruder or burglar alarm is a system widely employed to inform the owner, or other responsible person that someone has entered the protected office or home without authority. |

CCTV:The need for some level of surveillance within homes and businesses as a crime deterrent is obvious, and for this reason camera makers have come up with a variety of closed circuit television systems, known by the general term CCTV. |

ACCESS CONTROL:Access control and door entry systems allow you to control who enters your premises and when. FIRE SYSTEMS:Minimising the loss of life, risk of injury and damage to property is a sensible obligation for any business. A fire protection strategy should be in place to prevent fire from starting in the first place, however should a fire accidentally breakout an automatic fire detection system is essential to avoid losses and prevent injury. |

MONITORING SOLUTIONS:Since July 2002, Police guidelines state they will no longer respond to bells only alarm systems unless there is some additional evidence that an offence is in progress. This is usually in the form of secondary detection within the premises known as sequential verification and can be either visual or motion. |

HOME ENTERTAINMENT:The growing market for automated home security has made available a wide range of devices and systems. Security is uppermost in the minds of many homeowners, and often their first purchase is a simple plug-in timer that turns lights on and off at pre-determined interval. |

London has become famous as a leading world centre for the fashion industry, when you think fashion the cities of London, Paris, Milan and New York simply roll off the tongue. Even in these difficult economic times the major fashion houses of the world sell a huge variety of branded designer goods in central London including watches, jewellery, bags, dresses, shoes, etc. However these high quality retail outlets have also become a target for some increasing daring robberies and other crimes.
The last few years has seen some very infamous robberies from central London fashion houses, in the Graff Diamonds robbery of August 2009 raiders got away with nearly £40 million worth of designer jewellery consisting of watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces. A year later, none of the stolen items had been recovered. In August 2010 raiders struck two designer jewellery shops in an upmarket arcade in the financial district using sledgehammers to smash through windows and cases. The shops De Beers and Omega both lost thousands of pounds of merchandise but at least on this occasion CCTV footage gave the police some vital clues.
The problem these fashion houses face is how to integrate the most sophisticated security systems into a store without losing the appeal and look of the store itself. That is where British Security Technologies comes in. In the last year or so we have worked with several major international branded fashion houses in developing security systems for central London premises. The list of our clients includes flagship stores for Fendi in Sloane Street, Paule Ka in Mount St, Otto Uomo in Grosvenor Street, Christian Dior Homme in Bicester and Qui London in Great Titchfield Street.
Each of these projects was very demanding, the clients required the very highest specification for the security system equipment including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire systems and integrated security solutions. Our engineers were required to work with the store designers to ensure these security systems were not just professionally installed but also that the equipment blended perfectly with the prestigious store designs. The continued demand for our services in this field demonstrates our ability to fulfil these exacting requirements.
In many of these store we have successfully integrated Intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV systems to operate seemlessly and advise the relevant authorities when required.
