Security Monitoring for Police Response

POLICE GUIDELINES FOR

SECURITY ALARM MONITORING

Since July 2002, Police guidelines state they will no longer respond to bells only alarm systems unless there is some additional evidence that an offence is in progress. This is usually in the form of secondary detection within the premises known as sequential verification and can be either visual or motion.

Maintaining your

SECURITY ALARM MONITORING

Verified alarm signals can only be passed to the police for attendance via a police approved alarm receiving centre (ARC). Our ARC is Custodian www.custodianmonitoring.com. Custodian are one of the largest facilities in the UK to provide this service and have virtually linked cutting edge control rooms in 4 locations throughout the UK.

With a monitored alarm, you're connected 24 hours a day to the ARC via your GSM, Internet or Redcare link. Your premises are monitored even if you are away, so any break-in signal will be attended to by key holders and, if the alarm is sequentially confirmed or a panic button is activated, the police will be alerted. The security monitoring can also include fire for automatic fire brigade response and a variety of other parameters including electricity supply, freezers and flood warning etc.
